At GO Car Warranty we make it our business to price check across the whole market to make sure we are giving you the best deal we possibly can so if you find a cheaper warranty with like for like cover within 10 days of buying from us, we’ll beat it by £10!
In general, a car warranty is an insurance policy that covers repair costs and/or replacement parts and labour for your car in the event of a mechanical or electrical fault. (Please refer to the full terms and conditions of your chosen warranty). Every new car comes from the manufacturer with a standard car warranty, offering repair or replacement of any mechanical breakdown of the car for a limited period and within a limited number of miles. Once this warranty expires, you will need to pay for any repairs out of your own pocket. GO Car Warranty want to give you peace of mind at an affordable price to help to keep your car on the road.
In the event of a valid claim we will not apply any excess payments on GO Car Warranty products.
No. All we ask is that you service your car from now on according to the manufacturer recommendations (please refer to the full terms and conditions of our warranty).
You can use any VAT registered garage to repair your vehicle. However, if necessary, we can refer you to our nationwide nominated repairer network. We have inspected these garages and approve of the standard of workmanship and quality that they produce, which is continuously monitored to ensure that they are providing the best customer service.
GO Car Warranty understand the need for flexibility, so all that we ask is you have your car serviced at a VAT registered garage, to ensure that the work carried out is completed to standard. (Please refer to the full terms and conditions of your warranty).
Your premium quoted on GO Car Warranty is the total cost for your policy. We are aware of the need to budget and that's why we will shortly be introducing an option to pay for policies that are over £150 by Direct Debit through the website. In the meantime, if you wish to pay by instalments, we can offer an interest free option with a 20% deposit followed by 9 instalments. If you would like to take advantage of this please telephone us and we will arrange the policy over the telephone. Please note the Complete and Ultimate Warranties under £150 must be paid in full by credit or debit card.
Your GO Car Warranty is not a breakdown assistance product. Please call 0800 612 1302 for a breakdown recovery quote.
If you decide to sell your car, you can transfer the warranty to the new owner. Just call 01279 456 501 and we will talk you through the transfer process. Please note there is a £25 admin charge to transfer your GO Car Warranty.
GO Car Warranty want to make your life as easy as possible, and for that reason you can choose to have your car repaired at a franchise or network repairer. Some garages charge a higher labour rate than others and GO Car Warranty will pay up to the national labour rate or a maximum of £100 per hour. Authorised claims will be settled direct with the garage so you shouldn’t be out of pocket.
No fees are charged for arranging your policy. However, should you decide this policy is not right for you, you may cancel it within 30 days of purchase. Providing no claim has been made you will receive a full refund. This policy has no surrender value and in all other circumstances cancellation is without refund.

The majority of all claims are paid directly to the repairer by us.
Our policies do not apply to vehicles used for hire or reward [for example taxis, self-drive hire or driving schools].
Go Car Warranty will pay up to £30 a day [including VAT], for up to seven days, towards the cost of a replacement vehicle. You can only have a replacement vehicle if your vehicle is being repaired under this policy and prior authority has been given by Go Car Warranty’s Claims Department.
If you should suffer from mechanical breakdown whilst in Europe parts and labour may be included in your warranty, depending on level of cover, excludes Complete, (terms and conditions apply). The costs of breakdown recovery whilst in Europe are not covered by Go Car Warranty.
The policy is valid for up to 60 days per annum [pro rata] for driving in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe. AutoProtect will not pay more than the equivalent UK cost for parts and labour. N.B. These benefits will not be provided if the failure is not covered by the Policy. Payments will be limited to those levels outlined in the Policy.
