Car Insurance Falls for Younger Drivers
It has been noted that younger drivers seem to have been taking the brunt of rising insurance premiums in recent years, something that can be a particularly hefty burden for those who did the right thing and paid extra for extended auto warranty coverage, but the younger generation may finally be able to actually breathe a sigh of relief as the cost of car insurance does appear to at long last be stabilising.
Car insurance comparison website Tiger says that TigerWatch research has looked at a wide range of car insurance quotes and found that for young male drivers, prices have actually declined by around 4% and by 1% for young female drivers. Both genders saw the cost of car insurance fall by as much as 5.5% during the months of July through to September.
The commercial director of the website said that it was good news for motorists that the price of car insurance appears to be finally stabilising. However, drivers are still being advised to ensure that they are picking insurance coverage plans based not just on the cost but also on other very important factors such as the protection and coverage that are offered by specific kinds of insurance policies.
Earlier in September, there was a report issued by the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) that suggested that the number of drivers on the roads of the United Kingdom who were uninsured had fallen by as much as 25%.
