Clients happy with Motor Codes garages
The automotive industry standards body Motor Codes has released a positive annual report on customer satisfaction with service centres and car dealers throughout the UK
Motor Codes conducted a total of 25,000 surveys throughout 2012. Of the total, 20,500 were completed by customers frequenting garages affiliated with Motor Codes. Another 4,500 were from new car buyers. Motor Codes asked customers for their opinion of the service given at the garage they used. The results gave a positive snapshot of the service quality at Motor Codes' network of 7,000 garages.
The latest Motor Codes report reveals that public confidence in garages has climbed to a resounding 98% since the report was first released in 2008. It also found that when a garage calls the customer to tell them extra work is necessary, 98% of clients using Motor Codes garages are satisfied that the garage is charging them a fair price for work they were happy to have done on their cars.
When the first Motor Codes Report was launched, managing director Chris Mason predicted it would provide a means of monitoring car industry standards.
