Hyundai marks epic warranty deal
It's celebration time at Hyundai, as the Korean manufacturer marks the 10th anniversary of the introduction of its five-year warranty in the UK.
Since its creation in 1967 the company has risen to become the world's fifth largest motor group.
It has offered a five-year, unlimited mileage warranty on its passenger cars since 2002 - a move which was unmatched in terms of Car Warranty deals in the UK at the time.
The warranty was enhanced in 2010 when Five Year Triple Care was introduced on the company's compact SUV ix35.
It became standard on all new passenger vehicles in July 2011 and remains a comprehensive customer care package, consisting of five years of warranty, roadside assistance and vehicle health checks.
The warranty scheme package, which is fully transferable between owners, has been purchased by over 450,000 customers since it entered the market.
