Mazda revamps approved used car scheme
Japanese car maker Mazda has launched a new version of its Approved Used Car scheme, with extra benefits.
Customers who buy an approved vehicle will be able to choose from three types of cover to supplement their one-year warranty. The three free options are roadside assistance, MoT protection and key cover.
These form part of the enhanced package, which Mazda says it has designed to give buyers additional peace of mind.
Under the terms of the scheme, all approved used Mazda cars come with guaranteed technical inspection, a vehicle history and mileage check, plus 12 months' protection against breakdown and repair.
Other features include 12 months' European roadside assistance, 'one-call' assistance in the event of an accident or theft, plus the use of a replacement vehicle and a 30-day exchange scheme.
The new Approved Used Car scheme has been developed in collaboration with Allianz Global Assistance.
Mazda said the innovation provided by Allianz Global Assistance had ensured that Mazda's approved used offering remained fresh and competitive.
