SEAT Mii goes on sale
Only weeks after its debut at the international motor show in Geneva, the brand new SEAT Mii 3-door is now available to order in the United Kingdom, with prices kicking off from just £7,845 RRP for the entry level Mii S 3-door. At this price it is only £150 less than the cost of the VW Take Up!, though it is expected to be more expensive than the base model Skoda Citigo.
The Spanish firm's exciting comeback to the rapidly increasing city car segment - which it previously competed in back in 2004 in the United Kingdom with the popular Arosa - occurs as the company kicks off what is its most extensive new model offensive in all of its 26-year history in the country.
"I'm very excited to announce deals of the Mii 3-door's pricing and generous specification today," says Simon Bradley, SEAT's UK Product Manager. Bradley notes that the city car segment has proved itself to be very price sensitive, but that they are extremely confident about the new model's chances of success in the United Kingdom gives its aesthetic appeal, exceptional RRPs, extensive SEAT UK dealer network and the company's usual generous Car Warranty. "When you factor in unmistakable SEAT style, and a generous dash of sunny Spanish character, I'm sure this city car will be in very high demand," he insists.
The new SEAT has successfully redefined what is achievable on a compact platform, with the fact that the wheelbase is the joint longest in its class being balanced by its small front and rear overhangs to make sure not to jeopardise its urban agility.
