What is the process when making a claim?

The first thing to do is to call us to register your claim. We’ll tell you where your nearest VAT registered garage is and you can take your car there along with the relevant documents which will be outlined by your advisor when you call to make the claim. The garage will determine the cause of breakdown and check that the faulty part/parts are covered by your warranty. It will be the garages duty to contact GO Car Warranty to agree on repair costs. If your warranty covers the faulty part/parts and costs are agreed, we will then pay the garage directly for the cost of parts and labour. The repairer must not proceed with repairing the vehicle unless they have obtained authority.

Who can I contact at GO Car Warranty to make a claim?

If you have a car warranty with GO Car Warranty, in order to make a claim you will need to call us on 0333 6000 290, and choose option 3 to be put through to one of our claims advisors who will be happy to help you. You must contact us before any work can be carried out on your vehicle at your nominated garage.

You can contact them from:

9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
9am to 1pm - Saturday
