What do I do if I need to make a claim?

If you have a policy with GO Car Warranty, in order to make a claim you will need to call us on 0333 6000 290 and choose option 3 to be put through to one of our claims advisors who will be happy to help you. You must contact us before any work can be carried out on your vehicle at your nominated garage.

What information will you need from me if I call to make a claim?

In the event of you needing to make a claim, we would need you to tell us what type of policy it is you have, e.g. standard warranty, Comprehensive Warranty, or Premier Plus Warranty .

Please also have the following to hand:

  • Your policy number

  • The current mileage on your car

  • Your vehicle registration number

  • Any details of any costs if applicable

Having this information will mean that we can deal with your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible.

What do I do if my garage won’t deal with a warranty company?

If this was to happen, we can refer you to our nationwide nominated repairer network. We have inspected these garages and approve of the standard of workmanship and quality that they produce, which is continuously monitored to ensure that they are providing the best customer service.

Who can help me with a warranty claim?

We have a dedicated team of claims advisors that are on hand should you need to make a claim. You can contact them on 0333 6000 290, and they will make the claiming process as simple as possible for you.

You can contact them from:

9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
9am to 1pm - Saturday

What is the policy claims excess?

In the event of a valid claim we will not apply any excess payments on GO Car Warranty products.

Are labour rates limited when making a claim?

Here at GO Car Warranty want to make your life as easy as possible and for that reason you can choose to have your car repaired at a franchise or network repairer. Some garages charge a higher labour rate than others and GO Car Warranty will pay up to the national labour rate or a maximum of £100 per hour. Authorised claims will be settled direct with the garage so you are not left out of pocket.
