Give thanks to your car

November is the time to reflect on the year that’s just gone. In the USA, families across the nation come together for Thanksgiving. So we thought about what we need to give thanks for when it comes to our cars.

Thank you for not breaking down

One of the biggest expenses is when your car breaks down. Often coming from out of the blue, if your car needs a repair, it can put a real strain on your finances. So if your car has made it this far into the year without a need for a trip to the garage, then now is the time to show your gratitude.

Thank you for passing your MOT

The MOT is another stressful time of year for car owners. Sending your car to be tested means you will be waiting nervously to hear from your mechanic to see if it has passed the test. When you do get that call and you’re told the news…the tension can be unbearable. So hearing that your car has passed is one of the best feelings you can get as a car owner. Thank you car!

Thank you for keeping us warm and dry

When you head out on a day trip or excursion, the British weather can catch you off guard. There are few better feelings than running back to your car and getting out of the rain/cold. And when you are young, the feel of the hot air blasting out of the air vents is one that stays with you all your life.

Thank you for keeping us safe

It can be scary to hear about all the accidents on the road. Local newspapers especially often have dramatic images of crashes and collisions on their front page. So if your car has kept you safe this year, it’s something to be very thankful for.
