SsangYong launches first ever TV campaign

SsangYong launches first ever TV campaign Image

In the build up to the arrival of the new 12-letter car registration on the 1st of March, SsangYong is launching its very first television advertising campaign in the United Kingdom in order to support the brand new Korando crossover.

The digital campaign is to be broadcast all over the country on a variety of terrestrial channels such as Channel 5 and ITV1.  The campaign, which is backed by a media spend of around £1 million, is set to run throughout February and has already been shown in Northern Ireland.

"Advertising on television is another first for SsangYong, and demonstrates our commitment to invest in the brand" says SsangYong Motor UK's Marketing and Communications Director, Steve Gray.  "The commercial promotes the key messages for Korando, which together with our three 'fives' - 5-year warranty, 5-year finance and 5-year's free servicing - is an extremely attractive offer."

Designed to be different and with a spot of humour, the television commercial features the vehicle in action while also paying special emphasis to its specification, five-year limitless mileage Car Warranty and competitive price.  For the first week of the campaign, the commercial will end with a £16,995 signoff and will then promote a finance offer for the vehicle, which likewise comes with free servicing for five years.  The commercial was shot in Suffolk and the Lake District by Kindred and is also being backed up by dealer advertising in order to support the launch of the brand new SsangYong Korando limited edition LE, plus other models in the range.
