The Citroen DS3
The new Citroen DS3 is a premium super-mini that is very customisable and a lot of fun to actually drive, but at £15,900 it will need to be able to knock the Mini from its perch as well as justifying the price.
There is no point in trying to deny the fact that the Citroen DS3 is a very attractive vehicle. It has a pretty standard wedge shape silhouette, but there is also a lot of very interesting detail in regards to its body work. The fin effect of the reverse shark on the half-height B-pillar certainly makes a more than pleasant change from the rather dull vertical columns that seem to be the norm nowadays and almost gives off the impression that the roof of the vehicle is actually floating in mid-air.
The chunky front and back rear clusters and vertical LED day running lights that have been integrated into the bumper are more than enough all by themselves to make sure that the DS3 stands out from the crowd, but those who want to make even more of an impression – and are feeling particularly adventurous to boot – might also want to opt to spec the DS3 with contrasting designs and roof colours as well as choose from a veritable plethora of alloy wheel styles.
The Citroen DS3 comes in four primary trim colours – the DSign, DSport, DStyle and the Racing edition – each of which gets more features than the one before it. All DS3 vehicles have a 35,000 mile, three-year Car Warranty.
