UK specification confirmed for Subaru BRZ

UK specification confirmed for Subaru BRZ Image

United Kingdom specification has been confirmed for the forthcoming Subaru BRZ sports car, with no less than three trim levels set to be available following its launch in the summer.  The BRZ will initially only be able to be ordered in the absolute top of the range trim level, which means that the car will come with 17-inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, MP3 connectivity, HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, cruise control, keyless entry and start, a full complement of airbags (knee-bags included) and heated leather seats.

The top spec BRZ will also be available with Subaru's Vehicle Dynamic Control, which is able to make use of both an electronic stability programme and traction control in order to stop the driver from losing control during fast track driving or in adverse conditions.  Also fitted as standard is a six-speed short shift manual gearbox, with the option available for a paddle operated automatic gearbox.

Customers will be able to pick from between six colours -Dark Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, San Remo Red, Sterling Silver, Satin White and Subaru's trademark World Rally Blue Mica.  Reduced, cheaper trim levels will be available not long after the launch of the vehicle, as well as a stripped out version aimed at those who want to mechanically customise the BRX for themselves and track-day enthusiasts.

In addition to the standard, 60,000 mile, three-year Subaru Car Warranty, the aftercare package "Everything Taken Care of" is also being offered with all new Subaru vehicles.
