When Dealers do not Offer Extended Auto Warranties

When Dealers do not Offer Extended Auto Warranties Image

Just because the dealer where you bought your used car does not offer extended auto warranties, that is no reason to assume you are stuck with no warranty plan or even one that is not all that great.  The fact is that many independent warranty providers would be happy to extend coverage to you.  All it takes is finding the right one, locking in the premiums for the scope of cover you have in mind, and then enjoying the benefits of that cover.

Finding independent warranty providers is relatively easy online.  In a short period of time, you can identify several providers of extended auto warranties who are highly likely to approve your car for coverage.  After compiling a list of these providers, making sure they provide an equitable level of benefits for the cost of the warranty plan is the next step.  As part of the process, providers may require that the car be inspected before providing a final outline of the type of coverage they are prepared to offer.

Keep in mind that along with general condition, factors such as the mileage on the engine and the age of the vehicle may also have an impact on the scope of coverage you can expect with these independent extended auto warranties.  Consider each plan carefully, then go with the one that offers the most benefits for the best possible price.  Doing so will mean less out-of-pocket expense if something major goes wrong with the car, allowing you to weather the crisis with much less frustration.
